The LAMDA Universities
LAMDA is a collaboration among Louisiana State University (LSU), Louisiana Tech University (LaTech), Southern University in Baton Rouge (SUBR), Tulane University (TU), and University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL).
LSU is the flagship campus of the Louisiana State University System and is the only public university in the State classified as a Carnegie Research University with Very High Activity. Tulane University is a Private (not-for-profit) 4 or more years school located in New Orleans, LA. It is the only private university in the State classified as a Carnegie Research University with Very High Activity. La Tech and ULL occupy the next tier of the Carnegie classification, namely, Research University with High Activity. SUBR is the flagship institution of the Southern University System, the largest Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) system in the United States.
LAMDA Industry Partners
Partnerships and collaborations are being developed with industry for research in emerging areas and workforce development, including industry internship programs, undergraduate research experiences, and industry-sponsored SeniorDesign/Capstone projects.
LAMDA E/RREU students are encouraged to participate in external research opportunities during the summer, and students have opportunities to work with industry partners.
