Research Experiences for Undergraduates
The LAMDA Extended/Reverse Research Experience for Undergraduates (E/RREU) is a 12-month research program designed for STEM students to conduct research at LAMDA institutions during the fall and spring semesters and work in industrial, national, or academic research Research & Development groups during the summer. LAMDA research focuses on building the design framework for new complex concentration alloys and thermoset shape memory polymers. Undergraduates receive mentorship from research faculty at participating institutions.
Student participants receive semester and summer stipends, travel reimbursement (summer).

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate at one of the LAMDA institutions (LSU, LaTech, ULL, SUBR, or Tulane).
- Minimum GPA of 3.00.
- U.S. citizen/permanent resident.
- Considering a research-related career or graduate school in a science major.
